Born just as techno was taking off across the world, Hitchens (real name Pete Kidd) grew up listening to his father’s record collection and gravitated toward punk rock and hip hop in his teenage years.
He was then introduced to electronic music at Fabric London. It was there where his love of the genre began. After listening to popular artists of the time, he quickly discovered techno’s origins from Detroit - just hours away from where he grew up. Soon after, he moved and called the Motor City his home.
After moving to Detroit, Hitchens focused on blending a variety of influences into his own music. From time spent in a hardcore punk band to a love of EBM, his minimalist sound evolved to feature dark edges.
